What is "All Our Babies: Birthing the Afrofuture"?

All Our Babies: Birthing the Afrofuture is a cultural event series focused on celebrating and supporting Black maternal health through the themes of Afrofuturism, wellness, and community. It features workshops, storytelling, and community events designed to empower, educate, and connect.

Who can attend the events?

These events are open to everyone, especially those interested in Black maternal health, cultural heritage, and community support. Families, allies, and community members are welcome.

Do I need to register for each activation?

Yes, we recommend registering in advance for each activation to secure your spot. Some events may have limited seating, so early registration is encouraged.

Is there a cost to attend?

No, events are free to the public, thanks to our community partners and sponsors

Where will the events be held?

Most activations will take place at The Langston Hughes Community Center, located at 2390 E 79th St, Cleveland, OH 44104. The culminating event and unveiling is TBD.

How can I support this initiative?
